About me and my therapy practice
As a Specialist Accredited Supervisor, I have had extensive experience of supervising CfD IAPT supervisees, qualified and trainee counsellors over the last 20 years. I have throughly enjoyed being part of a supportive collegial working relationship where the client and the client's world is of paramount importance, and the work of the counsellor and supervisor plays such an important part. It is a privilege to be working towards helping others, at what can be a bad time in the clients' lives.
Supervision helps enormously towards keeping the counsellor grounded in their work and most importantly, keeps the counsellor mentally healthy.
I aim always to give feedback to my supervisee, with kindness.
